Suiting... Shortly

I am obsessed with suits... all suits. Pant suits, feminine suits with a good pencil skirt, anything that has a strong shoulder, a large collar or lapel, sharp angles, structure of some sort. I think it looks fabulous and Momma (that's me, y'all) feels good in a power suit. But, humor me here... I am feeling a really odd itch for a good suit made of shorts! Okay, hear me out... the tailoring and fit has to be right. I repeat, it HAS TO BE RIGHT. Think "how would 1990's Julia Roberts wear this?" and then you are on the right track (or the same track as me, right or wrong, we are together). If you miss this mark, you will definitely get into an inappropriate margin with your shorts ... Check out this link to view a fairly affordable option for a short suit set: https://www.asos.com/us/asos-design/asos-design-oversized-double-breasted-dad-suit-blazer/prd/12238311?affid=25249&_cclid=Google_EAIaIQobChMI08SwveH86AIVCttkCh14qwrlEAQYCyABEgJ7Z_D_BwE&channelref=product+search&mk=abc&ppcadref=6537760440%7c80038604338%7cpla-294682000766&cpn=6537760440&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI08SwveH86AIVCttkCh14qwrlEAQYCyABEgJ7Z_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds I'd love to hear your thoughts on this... and specifically on a few specific areas: - comfort, - body type (positive thinking only), - industry appropriateness, - office dress code feasibility, - heels, flats, or sneakers with this? * as a disclaimer, I work from home, so I may wear this, a gown, amazon leggings, or my bath robe on any given day (dependent on video conferences and meetings) * I can't wait to hear about your thoughts on this little suit, and don't worry, if it isn't for you, it isn't for you. I personally would prefer a good emerald green short suit, with a white satin blouse(tank top probably because if I'm wearing shorts, it must be warm outside) , a camel colored leather belt, nude close-toed heels (chunky), and gold accessories... Can't wait to hear from you all, chat soon! Alexa

I personally don't enjoy wearing shorts, mainly because I have trouble finding ones that are flattering on my petite frame, however I do LOVE some of these colors!! The one that they listed as "red", looks more like a beautiful mango. I would wear a more higher cropped leg, like a tailored capri if the they made them. I also like the dark, smokey blue and would wear it with almost any color blouse; coral, teal, grey, etc. Thank you for sharing and I'm sure you'd rock the shorts and love hearing how you'd accessorize!!

Hey Heather, Thanks for this response. I also like a capri, and the mango color is really fresh looking, I'm a fan of that for sure. I enjoyed this response so thank you for the input. Thanks you! Alexa
