Hello everyone, I am new to the group and looking forward to networking!! :-) Personal branding is sooo important to be able to advance throughout your career. I take pride in my personal branding and know that it has helped me uphold and build some great professional relationships, be promoted to advanced roles throughout my career. Personal Branding: Being able to articulate who I am, why I do what I do and my expertise, etc.In my style of dress: Knowing what to wear and when to wear it But of course our annoying Covid pandemic had to show up right? uuugghhh Now you WFH and some questions come into play of "whats the norm" for our Zoom meeting appearances I only do the camera if I have to. If it is a quick one and not necessary, I just use my image pic. I find that most folks don't like having to be on camera. But I would say 35% of time I need to be on camera. Zoom meeting what to wear if I gotta be on camera... No problem... A nice blouse or blazer with a pop of color Hair: got the Covid hair today - do a quick up do or a quick flat iron with some of your favorite hair products to keep your do looking sleek and on point. Make up: Light make up, not much. Tip: If you wear lipstick or one in the berry family you need minimum make up, but it looks like you do. Nice right? Mascara and eyeliner...gotta make those eyes pop and awake :-) Earrings Bottoms: shorts or leggings...who's to know LOL Tip: Zoom does offer filters and backdrops/backgrounds. so that is something to play around with and check out. Current hair challenges: Covid hair styles right. No hairstylist trips due to the stay at home orders. Sooo its the DIY... I have been natural hair for about 5 years now and luckily I've done my own hair back in the day and with a some Youtube tutorials, I've been able to manage and come up with some nice twist outs and blow out styles. YAY!! When communicating with internal and external customers.. In my communications: Emails and templates (when I am communicating they know it's my work) Templates and picking my brand colors for reports and documents Style and fashion is everything to help our personal brands . :-) Stay Safe.
