Can I "return" a PPP loan before I deposit it?

I hope that's true for others, but after being overinformed on multiple articles, I'm not willing to take the risk. An update: despite declining the PPP loan via Chase TWICE, they *still* deposited $10K into my account on 5/1. Today, I received a call from Chase asking if I still wanted it. I said no (again), and they "rescinded" the loan without penalty or repayment fees. Gee, thanks. #eyeroll

I actually contacted an Attorney after this that assists people getting PPP and she said as long as it is DOCUMENTED, you shouldn't have issues. Most people fail to document though.
