Moving from Paris, France to the US, what is the best way?

Hello everyone, First of all thank you for reading this post. I am a woman in technology, working for 8 years in Paris, France, as a Business Intelligence consultant and Data visualisation expert. On parallel, I have developped my skills as a practicionner in hypnosis and Thetahealing, both through trainings received in the US. I would like to move to the US now, since me boyfriend lives there and he doesn't speak French, so it's easier for me to move than it is for him. I don't know if I should try and find a job there in tech, remote would be great in case we decide to move; I have a French engineering degree and 8 years of experience in France and South Korea, or if I should focus on opening my own practice in Hypnotherapy. I have a few trainings and 7 years part time of experience in the field but not much money aside. Knowing that I'd need a company to sponsor me, what would you suggest? What would be easier? Is this even possible? Thank you in advance for your help. All the best, Aurora

I would look at some tech companies you are interested in and see if you can speak to the hiring managers. With your experience it sounds like it wouldn't be a challenge to find something. The other thing you could do is find a role in Paris for a US-based company and then after a year transfer to the US office. It might make the visa process easier. You can always open the hypno therapy practice on the side until you build up enough clients to make it financially viable for you.
