Does anyone else have a case of The Mondays?

Its hard to hit the ground running sometimes with a hectic work week ahead of us. Here are my top 3 tips to stay productive: Stay Hydrated. Often times when I get a little burnt out its because my body needs water and a good stretch. Set a focus timer. I use the Forest App, and it sets a 45 min time of work. I rest 5 to ten min between each session. Write down a checklist. Keeps me on track with tasks that have priority and crossing them off my list shows me I have been productive even when it does not feel like it. What are your tips and tricks to stay productive and motivated during a workweek?

Oh I'm now curious about the Forest app. I'll have to search the app store to see if they have it and try it out for myself now! My bullet journal is my secret to staying productive and motivated. I end the day writing out my to do list and putting down important events that need to get done. Another thing I started doing this year was organizing my inbox. I set up folders to put emails that can wait, things that can be done this month, things that need to be done this week, etc. When I do work, I like to use the pomodoro method to set aside time to work and take breaks. When it comes to staying motivated, I keep a kudos folder of things I've accomplished. When I'm feeling down, I always look at this folder. Another thing I like to do is listen to podcasts. I like listening to podcast interviews since every guest inspires me and always gets motivated near the end of the episode.

Thank you for sharing. I never thought of having different folders for my inbox. I may have to do that. My inbox is getting out of hand lol.

I usually start the day off with listing the most important 3 things I need to accomplish from my running to-do list, but sometimes on Mondays, I commit to just one. Most days, after finishing my 3 things I can find the motivation to continue on with my list, but I give myself grace if I stick to those 3. On days when I can't find energy for the 3 (I live with migraines, so somedays one is enough), I pick the best thing off my list and tell myself it is only one thing. By being strategic with my one accomplishment, I am surprised at how productive I am.
