Good but I lost a job interview. I had to schedule two weeks out so they hired someone in the meantime. They forgot to cancel the interview so I also lost a days wages. But having a day off was nice.

Not great, I had an awesome phone interview on Friday, was supposed to hear about a second interview this week, nothing yet. I sent a follow up email yesterday, still nothing. Two more days I the week so who knows?

I've been ghosted more times the last 3 years than all 30 years of working combined. People don't have the integrity they used to and hundreds of over qualified candidates willing to take a low salary. Despite what you hear from politicians about millions of job openings, most are part time. Don't lost hope but it's not probably not you. I've also found that managers hate the hiring and training process. Even in my job thousands of people apply and I overhear the managers saying they don't want to interview dozens of people and then train for a hard job. They finally hired the first person they interviewed but have to keep the interviews already scheduled. Then they forget to cancel the ones weeks away or don't coordinate due to being busy.

Going pretty good. I took the leap and applied for an internal position. It is definitely a career pivot. I am in IT and this is in Finance. I spoke with the hiring manager last week and she was very encouraging for me to apply based on my background I shared with her. She took some of my skills and gave me a picture of how they would be valuable in this position. It was a very refreshing and inspiring discussion. Wish me luck.
