Advice on Working from Home?
As you all have settled into a new working normal, what has worked well for you? What hasn't? Especially for people working from home, how do you keep your energy levels up during the day?
Keeping a routine is essential, so work gets done efficiently, on a suitable schedule. I try working in a fixed space, adequately conditioned (desk, monitor, office chair). This way my job and my personal life can still be separated. I take planned breaks and stay physically active.
Take an actual lunch! For me I can work right through but actually stepping away from my desk for 15-20 minutes has helped a lot
It has it's challenges, and I am nowhere near the productivity level that I'd like to be. But what has worked so far is setting up a work station with multiple screens, plenty of space to stretch out, and encouraging my 6 year old to help occupy my 1 year old. I'd love to hear what is working for others!
