**Our Threat Protection team is dedicated to empowering Box administrators with the tools they need to ensure the security of our platform. We offer a comprehensive collection of features that provide timely security alerts and effective response actions in the face of potential threats. Our feature-set can be divided into two main areas: Anomaly Detection and Malware Detection.

Who you are:

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience

• Proficiency in Java, Scala, C++, or other modern software development languages

• Knowledge of cloud environment principles and experience developing applications with microservices architecture

• Ability to assess, communicate, and meet project milestones in a timely manner with managers and team members

• Fluent English speaking skills

Nice to have:

• Interest in security topics such as authentication, identity, and industry best practices

• Practical experience working with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and Kubernetes

**
You will be expected to:**

• Attend and engage in stand ups and maintain sprint task statuses in issue tracking tool daily

• Attend team, project, and manager 1:1 meetings weekly

• Collaborate with Product Management to help refine requirements and break down complex projects into meaningful, deliverable units

• Work collaboratively with other engineers, team members, across teams, and with partner organizations

• Respond to technical and behavioral feedback from manager and peers

• Play a role in developing and fostering Box culture

• Represent Box Poland internally and externalls

• Participate in the production on-call rotation with the team members

Percentage of Time Spent:**

• 60% coding

• 10% technical design

• 10% documentation

• 10% bug fixes/maintenance

• 10% meetings
