  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements such as drug screenings, background checks, new hire paperwork, and orientation materials.
  • Maintain accurate electronic HR records, forms, employee documentation, and policy databases.
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute HR reports, data summaries, and project materials for management and HR leadership.
  • Assist with required training activities, including preparation, tracking, review, and distribution of materials.
  • Process employee termination paperwork, including data entry, calculations, and routing of required documentation.
  • Partner with Safety to help meet, maintain, and distribute new hire DOT requirements.
  • Maintain HR forms and materials, including employee handbooks, applications, files, and related resources.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Complete accurate manual data entry across multiple systems.
  • Support special projects and other HR-related duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular and predictable in-office attendance.
  • Travel occasionally, up to 10%, primarily for day trips between offices or job sites.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, copiers, and printers.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
  • Must follow safety requirements and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • This role is designated as Safety Sensitive due to occasional travel to job sites and frequent day trips between offices.
  • Must be willing to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors as needed.
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required, with most travel consisting of day trips.

Physical Requirements
  • Able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or manipulate objects, talk, and hear.
