    Position summary

    the Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Plan, Environmental Protection Plan (EPP), and Emergency Response Plan (ERP) - ensuring alignment with GE Vernova standards, contractual obligations, and local regulatory requirements.

    • Oversee the full cycle of environmental management: policy implementation, training delivery, risk assessment, site inspections, auditing, and incident analysis.

    • Identify and escalate non-compliance in real time - stepping in whenever site activities fall short of established environmental or risk assessment requirements.

    • Track applicable legal requirements, monitor plan effectiveness, and provide timely updates to site management on emerging trends, legal exposure, and environmental concerns

    • Drive continuous improvement by contributing environmental feedback to the site team and translating industry trends into practical, on-the-ground recommendations.

    What We're Looking For

    You are someone who combines technical environmental knowledge with a hands-on, collaborative approach - comfortable working across teams, cultures, and complexity.

    Required

    • A degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering - or equivalent practical experience in a construction or environmental compliance setting

    • Occupational Waste Disposal Class B (乙級廢棄物處理技術員) or above issued by a recognized Taiwan authority.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)

    • Willingness to work onsite in Taoyuan on a full-time basis, including overtime when project demands require

    • Valid Taiwan motorcycle and car driver's license

    Preferred

    • Hands-on experience with Permit to Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) management systems.

    • Familiarity with Taiwan and broader Asian workplace culture and working practices.

    • Strong interpersonal skills - comfortable communicating with people across all levels of an organization, from site operatives to senior management
