    Position summary

    client

    • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including protection engineers, control engineers, commissioning engineers and external suppliers and/or contractors

    • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery

    • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety regulations and quality requirements

    • Review and validate, with support of the Technical Lead Engineer the technical documentation such as protection schemes, relay settings, control diagrams, testing and FAT / SAT procedures

    • Manage procurement and subcontractor activities related to control and protection equipment (IED's, relays, RTU's, SCADA interfaces, panels, etc.)

    • Schedule and coordinate / lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and communicate project status to stakeholders and GE Vernova management

    • Support factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT) and commissioning activities

    • Ensure proper documentation, Lessons Learned, Return of Experiences and project close-out activities are completed

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related field

    • Experience in high-voltage substation projects, particularly in protection and control systems (e.g., SCADA and IEC 61850)

    • Solid project management skills, with proven experience in engineering or energy infrastructure projects

    • Strong organizational and communication skills

    • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate international and/or multidisciplinary teams

    • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems

    • Proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio)

    • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the Netherlands and occasionally internationally

    • Fluency in Dutch and English; additional languages are an asset
