SUMMARY: Responsible for packing boxes using the Track machine and Tape machine.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operate Track Machine;
2. Check cartons to assure product is undamaged and was correctly placed in carton;
3. Add proper amount of paper to cartons to ensure damage protection.
4. Change tape on tape machine.
5. Communication - must report all machine problems, damages, and errors found to Lead or Supervisor;
6. Reliability - must be dependable in working established shift schedules, including overtime;
7. Assist Quality Control as needed;
8. Clean machines and work area;
9. Report to Picking Lead after all cartons have been packed;
10. Perform minor troubleshooting on Numina packlist printer.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Previous packaging experience preferred;
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
• Ability to work independently in a productive and consistent manner;
• Attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a repetitive motion for extended hours;
• Ability to stand for 8 or more hours each day.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
