    Position summary

    very Consultant Manager, you will lead a team of consultants and work closely with IBM clients and partners to design, deliver, and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with clients' strategic goals. In this leadership role, you will combine technical expertise with strong people management skills to ensure world-class delivery, while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    You will leverage your consultative skills, such as problem-solving methodologies, strategic communication, and service orientation, while guiding your team to achieve operational excellence. As part of IBM Technology Expert Labs, a team that is client-focused, courageous, pragmatic, and technical, you will not only collaborate with clients to optimize and trailblaze new solutions but also mentor and develop your team to deliver exceptional results.

    • Providing leadership and direction to delivery consultants, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.

    • Understanding clients' main challenges and guiding your team to develop solutions that deliver true business value across design, development, integration, implementation, migration, and product support phases.

    • Creating and executing agile delivery plans, overseeing installation, provisioning, testing, migration to production, and day-two operations.

    • Conducting and facilitating technical solution workshops, while ensuring team readiness and capability building.

    • Building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels, navigating challenging discussions to reach healthy resolutions.

    • Driving team performance and growth, fostering a culture of self-motivation, curiosity, and initiative, and enabling consultants to navigate data and people to find answers and present solutions.

    • Promoting collaboration and communication across clients, partners, and IBM teams, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.

    Required technical and professional expertise

    • Provide strategic guidance and situational coaching to services delivery teams, ensuring successful adoption of complex, enterprise-grade technology solutions.

    • Demonstrate mastery in deal coaching and influence key decision-making processes to drive client success.

    • Cultivate a high-performing, growth-oriented, and candid team culture that aligns with IBM's values and business objectives.

    • Apply deep practical expertise in Data Platform and Automation, with a strong understanding of enterprise interconnectivity across IBM's technology portfolio.

    • Oversee financial performance, including profit and loss management, to ensure sustainable business outcomes.

    Preferred technical and professional experience

    • Extensive hands-on experience with the watsonx product family, including implementation, integration, and optimization in enterprise environments.

    • Working knowledge of leading cloud platforms, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Red Hat OpenShift, with practical experience in hybrid and multi-cloud deployments.

    • Proficiency in modern development and automation technologies, including:

    • Programming and scripting languages: Java, Python, Shell scripting, Perl

    • Containerization and orchestration: Kubernetes, Containers

    • Ability to apply these skills in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
