Material Handler - Afternoon Shift

ysically fit, ability to occasionally lift heavier boxes

• Experience in operating forklift required

• Current valid Forklift license

• Current valid Raymond Reach license

DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Capability of operating overhead crane equipment

• Good organizational skills, ability to work well without supervision

MAIN DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES OF JOB:

• Conducts pre-shift inspection of a forklift and able to complete forklift safety checklist
• Follows instructions to ascertain materials, parts, boxes, containers are moved from or to production lines/work centers
• Loads, unloads and moves material, parts, components within or near plant, yard, or workcell.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks or shelves
• Supplies production lines with required components
• Reports any defective packaging and stores them in designated areas
• Remove old labels from racks/containers
• Clean up work cell when necessary
• Attends training based on Mytox Internal Training Matrix
• Utilizes effective Housekeeping Practices (shop floor, storage area forklift)
• Adheres to all Mytox safety rules and regulations
• Participate in Mytox Continuous Improvement and 5S activities
• Follows all applicable Mytox BOS procedures
• Any other reasonable request by management
