e contributes to the enhancement of risk governance, infrastructure, and enabling tools underpinning the framework, including associated methodologies, policies, procedures, and reporting.
Role
• Support the governance, rollout, embedding, and reporting of key Risk Management Framework components, including risk appetite, the risk operating model, governance arrangements, and risk culture initiatives.
• Assist with the preparation of management information (MI), dashboards, and reporting for internal governance forums and regulatory audiences.
• Maintain, update, and govern risk policies, standards, and procedures, including coordination of periodic reviews, stakeholder consultations, and approval processes.
• Design, document, and maintain end‑to‑end process maps, workflows, and procedural guides, ensuring proper version control and centralized documentation.
• Support the development of risk‑related training materials, participate in training activities, and help ensure colleagues perform their roles in accordance with the Risk Management Framework.
• Monitor adherence to risk policies and processes across the First Line of Defense and contribute to risk assurance activities by providing insights, data, and explanations.
• Provide broader support to the Mastercard Brazil Risk Management Team, as required.
All About You
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
• Bachelor's degree with 5 -7 years of relevant work experience in internal controls, audit, risk management, or compliance, preferably within payments, financial services, or regulated environments.
• Strong reporting and presentation skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of risk management principles, including the Three Lines of Defense model, sound risk governance practices, and financial services risk and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance risk management activities, including improvements to framework documentation.
• Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Domo, or Access.
• Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English required.
