    Position summary

    es and ensure effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations.

    • Provide customer service support with employees' queries and address benefit issues.

    • Engage in benefits administration including collecting and submitting employee information, overseeing record-keeping, invoice processing and creating and analyzing reports.

    • Ensure benefits elections are entered appropriately in the Workday HRIS system to support payroll deductions processing.

    • Conduct benefits presentations for internal employee orientations.

    • Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes affecting benefits programs and inform the upper management as necessary.

    • Proactively Ensure compliance with insurance and other regulatory requirements.

    Travel Requirements: Under 5%

    Education, Skills and Experience

    • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or closely related field is required. Progress toward professional certification/credentials preferred.

    • 2+ years of experience in in one of the administration areas of Benefits: Health & Welfare, Retirement, Leaves of Absence (LOA). Exposure and progress in other Benefits areas. Some experience in LOA administration is required.

    • Customer Service focus

    • Strong understanding of benefits administration

    • Demonstrate leadership skills, ability to coordinate work with teammates

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain benefit programs

    • Familiarity with labor laws and the ERISA regulatory environment

    • Excellent organization and prioritization skills

    • Proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office suite

    Preferred

    • Proficiency in negotiating and conflict resolution

    • High level Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables

    • Prior experience with Workday
