The position reports to the Sr Director Human Resources, APAC and would be responsible for:
Integrating global HR strategies and initiatives for the various offices in the region while ensuring global consistency; Should leverage best practices while implementing various global HR processes/programs or designing new policies/programs
Providing strategic business partner support to site leadership; develop a strong understanding of current and emerging business issues/needs and thereby determine people and business strategies to address such issues/needs.
Provide leadership and support to ensure consistent application of HR policies and initiatives across business groups/locations
Promote employee engagement and enable a high-performing workforce
Challenging status quo and take a proactive approach to HR service delivery
Coaching business leaders/managers on various aspects of people/HR strategy and related issues to raise the bar; leverage various people interventions as needed to develop a strong workplace culture.
Ensuring that Xperi operates in compliance with local employment and other related laws within the region.
Support regional hiring efforts for a variety of roles as needed.
Skills required -
The applicant should have a Masters Degree in Human Resources with a minimum of 12 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with exposure to an innovative business, and supporting multiple business groups.
Demonstrated business partner leadership experience at a divisional/executive level, with proven success in linking HR strategies to the business; hands-on approach to building organizational talent and workforce plans
Demonstrated experience on executing to key functional areas such as employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, and talent management
Well-developed experience in employing analytical and planning skills; use of effective due diligence skills and the ability to use sound judgment
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently while effectively managing multiple initiatives of varying complexities and competing priorities
Experience in a contributing to a growing business and positive reputation in working effectively across levels/geographical boundaries
Possess strong influencing, interpersonal skills and leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Understanding of the employment market, compensation and policy trends, including changes to employment law.
