    • Name

      Danielle Seth

    • Position

      Vice President, Client Partnerships

      Chicago, IL

Danielle Seth’s favorite motto is “embrace change.” After graduating, she started her career with Comcast Spotlight as a Local Account Executive in Indianapolis, IN, and within a year, moved to New York City to join the corporate ad sales research team. Over the next ten years, Danielle held several positions that focused on building a fact-based ad sales business, which included launching new tools and insights that supported corporate initiatives and a salesforce across 70 markets.

Some of Danielle’s career milestones coincided with the births of her two daughters and her advice to young women is that you can professionally excel while navigating the responsibilities of a growing family. In her last research role, she came back from maternity leave to build a new research department that supported advanced advertising sales and scaled new ways for advertisers to connect with brands and measure advertising’s impact. Shifting gears in 2016, Danielle had her second daughter and moved to Chicago, IL to lead advanced advertising sales for the Midwest. In less than three years she grew revenue by 1000%, crediting focus, the ability to change the client conversation and a customer-first approach to her success.

In 2018, Danielle joined NCC Media as Vice President, Client Partnerships, and is responsible for building strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 marketers.  Her role is to listen to marketers’ objectives and challenges to bring them solutions using NCC Media’s core assets of content, data, scale, technology and measurement.  When asking Danielle why she is excited about her new role at NCC Media, the answer comes easily, “I have the opportunity to work with a talented diverse group that will serve as a catalyst to accelerate industry change.”

  • NCC Media Rita Lima

Meet a Fairygodboss at NCC Media

    • Name

      Rita Lima

    • Position

Supervisor, Digital Media Product and Planning

      Los Angeles, CA

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles, CA by a family who undoubtedly is the definition of hard work. I am a first generation born American with instilled Guatemalan values, both of which have deeply shaped who I am today. I can’t speak about myself without acknowledging my parents, who are the foundation of my success. They came to this country seeking the American Dream, took the risk of entering the country illegally, the heartache of leaving their families behind, and a language barrier. I am here as their great example that hard work, honesty and drive is still remedy for success.

In 2006 I graduated from Marymount University with my B.A in Psychology.  In the same year I embarked on a career in advertising with Adlink, a local cable interconnect company in LA. At that time, I was unsure of the direction I wanted to take and knew little of the industry. However, what I did know was, I am a hardworking, open to the challenges of learning and to always have a dedication to accomplishing the job.

During my time at Adlink I returned to school and obtained my M.S in Counseling Psychology from Mount St. Mary’s College. Even though my master’s program pushed me to an unexpected level of personal growth, working at Adlink sparked a new career interest.

In 2015, I started a new position at NCC Media as a Digital Sales Planner. I was excited to continue to grow within the cable advertising world with a strong focus in Digital Media. My knowledge and advancements in digital are a direct correlation to the mentorship given by Tracy Proterra.

In 2017, I was promoted to Supervisor of Digital Media Product and Planning becoming the point person for the West region. Part of my success has been aiding in the growth of the Digital Sales Support team, which has increased from a team of one to four. I am truly appreciative to be apart of the NCC team and have a respect for the responsibility I carry as a Supervisor.

What Women Should Know about Working At NCC Media
NCC Media is going through an exciting transition. Our new leader and first-ever woman President and CEO, is focused on evolving NCC into a modern and forward thinking sales, data, and technology industry leader. Our goal is to engage employees on many levels to create a sense of passion for our company and for what they do by establishing a fun, inclusive community that provides opportunities for professional development and career advancement for women.  To that end, we will launch NCC’s first Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) in late 2018. This is what women have to say about working here:

Andrea Montesano/Account Executive/New York, NY:

For me, working at NCC has given me a place where I am treated fairly, my work is appreciated, and I am given the flexibility to be successful, while still being present for my children. I have a 7 year old daughter and a 1 year old son and my motto has become “one day at a time”.  NCC has been a place that recognizes my ability to get my job done well while I juggle my home life. I also love that I work in an environment where mothers are in upper management and extremely successful at their job.  It makes me want to work harder so I can have the same opportunities.

Andie Kallinger/Director, Promotions & Corporate Communications/Los Angeles, CA:

I’ve worked at NCC for more than 11 years and I’ve always felt supported in a work/life balance, which I find to be imperative with a young family.  I’ve been very fortunate to work on a team with many creative, smart and fabulous women who challenge and encourage me every day.

Danielle Demming/eBusiness Affiliate Operations Coordinator/Bloomfield, NJ:

Women should know that working at NCC Media is working for a company that isn’t afraid to hire women.  Here at the Bloomfield office, I work with an awesome team of women, who report to an awesome woman, who reports to another awesome woman.  With that being said, when interviewing in 2015 for my current role, that was a very appealing factor in addition to learning that most of these women have been with this company for 10+ years.  I believed that as a woman, there might be a better sense of understanding and that I could be nurtured to reach my maximum potential for years to come.

Miranda Schu/VP, eBusiness Affiliate Operations/New York, NY:

I’ve been fortunate enough to work with many amazing women and men here at NCC and I’ve had great mentors. I think women should know that we truly care about the people we work with and they are treated as the individuals they are. With that comes understanding, compassion, flexibility, comradery and respect. I’ve always felt mutual respect with my colleagues as well as senior staff members. Women shouldn’t be afraid to speak up, we promote open communication at all levels. I’m surrounded by intelligent, strong, supportive women who make me want to be the best person that I can be – both at work and home. I’m inspired by their positive outlook and perspectives every day.
