They value women and are making it a goal to gain more female employees.
Long hours are expected and company culture does not foster a safe nor intellectually challenging environment. The company has poor ethics in regards to the environment and is reluctant to change.
There's a clique-i-ness that's evident in most any firm, but the people are great.
GE has been a great place to work for my first internship experience! GE is also doing a great job of continuing to hire women in engineering 4 of the 5 people on co-op with me are women which is usually unheard of!
This was a wonderful place to intern and learn from other successful women.
Some of the departments are very fratty and male dominated.
Very even male/female distribution. I felt well respected and that there were opportunities for career growth. My coworkers were all very passionate about their work! And I had some great female role models, which was refreshing for working in construction/facilities.
