“Macy’s is a great place for working mothers and women,” one woman said on Fairygodboss. “Work-life Integration is part of the culture and you can absolutely feel it on the team.”
Women represent more than 75 percent of the Macy’s, Inc. workforce and approximately 64 percent of management-level executives. They also scored a perfect 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index and were recognized as a best place to work for LGBT equality. And thankfully, they’re looking to hire women across the country.
Target is more than a pop culture icon. It’s a company that truly values its diverse workforce.
"It is fun, innovative, [and there’s] room for creativity and growth within the company,” one anonymous reviewer wrote.
"Target offers good maternity leave. You are treated very fairly as a working mom,” another wrote. “There are good facilities for pumping and you’re allowed to do so as needed.”

“I worked at HQ for 3 years and found this to be an excellent company for working mothers,” one anonymous reviewer wrote. “In the departments where I worked, the leaders (men and women) were very supportive of mothers. The on-site daycare wasn't built yet when I was there, but I've heard great reviews from my former colleagues. Many friends took maternity leave and raised their young kids while working here... If I could go back when I'm ready to have kids, I would not hesitate.”
