Generally fair treatment. Very meeting heavy which creates challenges for me at times as a working mom trying to block and keep time for pediatrician appointments. Always find a way so far but it can be an added source of stress at times. Some offices offer great versatility of you need it while others are more into face time. Lots of opportinities for new experiences & growth of you prove yourself.
More and more, women are being hired into senior management roles. However, getting promoted internally as a female to roles such as VP are very rare. Most women who are promoted are kept to middle management. Come into the company as high a level as you can because moving up once you're there will be a challenge.
there are few women in high level roles - but even then they are not treated as equals. The good ole boys club is alive and well - and flourishing. There are not benefits that you would expect from a family care company - no child care, limited maternity leave, no break on products, etc.
