I have had two kids at Marketo and have been able to take advantage of their great maternity leave policy. Marketo isn't unlike a lot of companies where men rise faster but that can be pointed back to men feel more empowered to ask for what they want and pursue opportunities that they don't' have experience or qualifications for, whereas those 2 things alone can stop women from progressing faster. I personally found that when I developed a plan and very directly for what I wanted, it was a game changer for my career.
