In 2007 Lynn Jurich co-founded Sunrun and after 14 years as our CEO, transitioned her leadership to our current CEO, Mary Powell. This female leadership at the highest level in the company fuels the entire organization to power forward together.
In October 2012, I began my journey with Sunrun as a member of the Customer Care team. Over the span of 11 years, I've had the privilege of dedicating a significant portion of my time to the Legal department, eventually advancing to lead substantial segments of our post-activation Customer Experience teams. In this role, our focus is on providing unparalleled support and satisfaction to our customers. As of December 2023, I assumed the position of Chair for the Women’s Community, a role that ignites my passion for fostering inclusivity and empowerment among our female employees.
What I truly appreciate about being part of the Sunrun team is our steadfast dedication to innovation, sustainability, and the cultivation of a supportive workplace culture that enables every individual to thrive and contribute meaningfully. When I joined Sunrun, I took a giant leap of faith out of Education as a Counselor for many years. I was doubtful at first but now I know firsthand that Sunrun offers benefits that are unmatched in the industry for its customers and employees. I am able to build upon my skills and create new experiences to transform not only myself but my community as I engage with partners within the industry to impact policies across the nation. One of the most rewarding aspects of working at Sunrun is that I am able to advocate for improving the health and lives of all. I started working at Sunrun 8 ½ years ago, fresh out of ASU’s School of Sustainability, and hungry for a career that would make a positive impact for people and the environment. In my time here, Sunrun has provided me with countless opportunities to gain skills and knowledge, have rich experiences, and set myself up for success in any role. From Sales to Training, to Technology, and now in Talent; Sunrun has supported my growth and development and made me feel like I can rise to any position. My time here at Sunrun has been incredibly rich and rewarding.
