There are a lot of men working here and because of the nature of certain jobs (ie: plant and field jobs) but I have never felt that I have been treated differently because of being a woman. I have always felt that I have been treated equally and fairly.

Xcel Energy is a great company; however, women working in the operations side of engineering are certainly the minority.

Offered 100% Short Term Disability of 6 weeks for vaginal delivery or 8 weeks for Cesarean. Unpaid after that. Most of the larger buildings / facilities offer personal care rooms for medical / pumping needs, equipped with sinks and refrigerators.
