As you progress there is unequal treatment of females who want to challenge the way things have always been done; the divorce rate is incredibly high as well!

Generous parental leave policy (16 weeks paid) and generous paid time off (4-6 weeks), but the travel and hours/overtime typical of consulting work might be difficult with children.

Globally it has some of the best maternity packages available, and there is a genuine commitment to encourage diversity and support women. However, this generally only translates in the enterprise and support roles - most women can't/won't consider the front-line consulting roles when managing a young family.

At entry level woman are on par with men. As you progress within the organization, it becomes more bifurcated between women and men and the roles they play.

I have worked here for a number of years and I believe that women are treated fairly. There is a strong gender balance at most levels and the company actively seeks to be in line with best practice to reach gender equity (e.g. shared parental leave, mentoring programmes, women-specific support programmes)

I have worked at Accenture for 20 years. It is an amazing place filled with incredible people -- including 130,000 women. One thing i really like, if you want to make a change and improve benefits, you speak up and ask for changes. Lots of variety and opportunity and the company is always reinventing itself. Everything is underpinned by technology.
