"Although there are many women in leadership within ADP, it is still a "good old boys club" at the core. I'm in a division where the entire leadership team is exclusively white men. I've been at the company almost 20 years and I've seen multiple cases of harassment and gender discrimination opened with HR against male managers over the years.
Typically the company asks the offending man to leave the company vs firing them. Many times they are just relocated to another area or division. Women have to work a lot harder to get promoted due to the men in leadership who are "old school". Women are frequently told to "soften their tone" by male managers who are known for being extremely abrupt in their own communication style. There have been situations of male managers who yell, swear, and degrade their employees continuously being dismissed and ignored due to them being a top sales contributor and bringing in big numbers. This is even after bringing to HR's attention. Overall, the people/employees at ADP keep everyone employed here as it is a group of great people who support each other. The men who are ignorant need to be educated and their attitudes currently align based on their age with all of society. There are tons of opportunities to move within the organization to an area where these situations don't occur. Corp has taken a new interest in employee satisfaction by launching ways for employees to anonymously report things, as well as a neutral Associate Relations Board that employees can open cases with bypassing their local management and HR completely. They also have a strict no-retaliation policy. Most employees are very happy working at ADP, the sales side is a tougher area."

"It depends on the job, division, and Manager you have at ADP. There used to be a lot more jobs that were home shored on the support side. A change in our support model has brought most of those people into our new and improved support centers. Sales jobs and Management jobs have more flexibility."

"My current manager has many great qualities and is of similar age to me. He is known for being straight and to the point, factual, and abrupt in his communication style, which is not unusual with sales. He has made comments to me such as "watch your tone" when his tone is just as straight forward and more harsh than mine. I will openly have a discussion with him on this and share articles, which I believe he will be open to reading. He is overall very supportive and encouraging. My previous manager I had to file a hostile work environment claim with HR due to him being a bully, which was dismissed and he was moved to another team--although he dramatically modified his behavior and has realized he needs to treat his employees politely now at all times."
