ADP has a very strong culture supporting women. From our CEO down, our culture expects women to thrive. We have won many awards for being a top employer for women at all levels. We just won yet another award from the National Associate of Female Executives for being a top employer for executive women. We also have several women's business resource groups for any woman of any level. ADP is an awesome employer and for women!

Managers will not look after your career so you have to know where you want to be and work towards that. There's no coaching or mentoring at least in my department, so you have to be resourceful in educating yourself.

I think this depends on the manager. Some managers don't allow employees to work from home. We're allowed to go once or twice a week.

Invest in your employees, they're your currency to company growth. It's not a one-way relationship.

  • Recommend to Women?

Maybe. The company is great, excellent benefits and higher than average salaries; however, in my business unit, there's no professional development, no mentoring. It's all about what the employee brings, in return, not much to learn...

Lots of formal and informal programs to help women (and diverse groups) succeed. For Canada, the benefits are fairly comparable, but tend to fall down within the Tech/Software industry.

This is the bare minimum for mothers in Canada - 6 weeks of 100% salary, then on unemployment insurance for the remainder. There is no paternity or adoptive leave top up.
