"AppleOne is largely staffed by women who you would think would be supportive of the mostly female force of job seekers that they place in assignments. Except in one circumstance, that's not been the case for me, and I've worked several assignments for AppleOne over 20+ years. Further, there's a conflict of interest in the staffing agent representing the client—the company who has hired AppleOne to find an employee—and the potential employee. There is simply no way the rep can support both in an unbiased way. And they will always choose the client because that's who's paying."

"My agency rep actively endangered my assignment during the height of the pandemic, threatening that if I didn't report in person to the office (my job had been remote), I would "need to find another position." I later found out that wasn't the case at all; the client, my boss on the assignment, wasn't actually legally allowed to find out my vaccination status. My rep lied to and gaslighted me several times in a manner similar to this."

"Your happiness with this company depends on the manager you work with and the team you have. If you manager isn’t knowledgeable, or flexible it makes life harder. I’m very lucky to currently have a manager that rewards us with a work life balance! It probably helps since she has littles ones herself. "
