"While I can't speak of how it is to work in home office I can say project life is male dominated as most construction jobs go and advancement opportunities seem to be a bit easier for me. While these aren't small issues for the most part I have been pretty happy working for Bechtel the past 5 yrs. The benefits are good and I feel like they're always looking for ways to improve and hear Field Non Manuals thoughts not only regarding benefits but policies and procedures. "

"Very male-dominated organization, as most construction firms are. Many at the top recognize the need for more diversity and inclusion but likely will find it hard to implement change to actually achieve that (like changing maternity leave policy). Current policy falls under short-term disability and covers only 6 weeks at 60% pay. The only upside is that the firm gives every other Friday off throughout the year."
