"Leadership truly cares about employees and their families and provide for many extra benefits to help balance caregiving responsibilities, work expectations and mental/physical health."
"Boston Scientific has great D&I initiatives and their employee resources groups can help provide networking and leadership opportunities"
"Being a working mother, work life balance is so important. BSC offers me the flexibility I need to support my family, and succeed at work. I continue to be impressed by our leadership and their ability to model our core values. Boston Scientific cares about their employees as much as the patients we support! "
"I’m proud to work at a company that is a strong ally for women. Especially as a full time working mom, I’m fortunate to be supported by and surrounded by others who value work life integration "
"Diversity is at the core of our company. It's one of the first places I've worked as a leader where I feel I am on a level playing field with my colleagues regardless of race, gender or beliefs. "
"Boston Scientific has one of the best employee development programs. The leadership is genuinely interested in their employees’ growth and job satisfaction. Transparency in communication keeps people engaged. "
"Fantastic work-life balance. Access to amazing programs such as Milk-Stork and Care.com They've helped me balance work and life to be the best working-mom that I can be."
"I would tell other women that I have never worked for a company that is more flexible and understanding of the need for work-life balance or is more supportive when an employee has a personal issue. I lost my husband and my mother to cancer while working for Boston Scientific, and both times, the company stepped up to support me with greater job flexibility, coverage, meals, and leadership checkins to be sure I had everything I needed. Time and time again, I have gone to the Boston Scientific family for referrals to good physicians, and even when I do not know the people I am asking for help from personally, they step up immediately. Best place I have ever worked or will ever work."
"I have always felt extremely supported in my role. Not only that, but I have been pushed and encouraged to pursue my passions in the workplace and been given the tools to do so. I constantly feel empowered by the women that I work with, report to, and support. "
"Great, fun and family focused environment. COVID brought a lot of challenges but BSC put forth our caring value at the forefront to take care of everyone. "
"My time at BSC, as a working Mother of three, has been very positive. I have felt that BSC has provided an environment of full support, understanding, open communication and transparency. This has been especially important during COVID. I feel I have the ability to be a contributor at work as well as being present in my children's lives. I feel BSC has been communicative, supportive, flexible and creative for their employees during this crazy time. "
"BSC is very inclusive of all genders and cultures. They encourage talks about diversity and inclusion."
"Boston Scientific is a great company to work for! I have been with the company for 4 years and I have felt included, being provided equitable work to my male coworkers, and have been respected for my thoughts and opinions. "
"As a strong performing female, Boston Scientific recognizes you in career development and compensation."

"Unlike so many other companies, Boston Scientific truly practices what they preach. Women of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences are welcomed, valued, and respected here. When was the last time you saw an organization publish metrics on pay equity and pay parity? At BSC, Equal Pay for Equal Work is not just a value but also a reality. The talent acquisition team is transparent, empathetic, and sincere, caring for candidates as employees are cared for by the company. How companies treat candidates and employees during Covid-19 will be remembered: BSC set themselves head and shoulders above the competition from our first conversation. Our leadership continues to go above and beyond to keep employees informed about current events in the US and around the world, supporting the company family and their families, illustrating an ongoing commitment to their people and the patients and communities we all serve. During times of social injustice and upheaval, BSC does not hide their head in the sand or offer empty platitudes; they come together to learn from one another and take action, on a personal and company-wide scale. Scientific collaboration and civic engagement go hand in hand in our culture. This is what BSC means by “Advancing together.”"
"Our culture feels like a big family. I have the support of my directors and always feel like I can give honest feedback as it relates to our business. If you are ambitious and work hard the sky is the limit within Boston Scientific. "
"I stay at BSC for a reason - I am supported and part of an organization that truly cares about me and the patients we serve."
"I highly recommend working at Boston Scientific! You will be part of a global team passionate about the work we do to help save lives. The Leadership team is so supportive and there is so much opportunity for growth. "
"Don’t limit yourself - get involved is the overall company goals. "
"We have come a long way, but there is still more work to be done! It is great to be a part of a company that not only supports women but supports diverse groups as well. The company is committed to making positive changes and we have to be patient because they won't change over night. I have never felt held back from where I want to go and what I want to do at this company. "
"I love this company - no company is perfect. But this is a great place to work. We have a strong talented and very caring leadership team - it starts at the top. I think you learn a lot about a company during a crisis. I have never been more proud to work for this company than the way they managed the COVID pandemic throughout the world and even the civil/political unrest in the US. "
"Diverse environment that actively is always looking to improve disparity between women and men. Flexible environment "

"I will tell other woman that the values of the company shows caring for their employees . That care is reflected on the flexibility and opportunities for woman to balance their careers and life. It is also a company that takes diversity very seriously and is taking action to constantly demonstrates equality with the organization. I have a 15 year old son and have been in the company for 17 years and have been able to grow and still be a very caring mom for my son and for my family. "
"Best work/life balance and inclusive culture of anywhere I have worked. Similarly, this is the first place I have worked where I do not feel I am treated differently than my male colleagues based on my gender."
"Great culture! Protects it people by offering extra benefits to try and promote a healthy work life balance. "
"Boston Scientific is a great place to work. Very supportive in the unknown times that are happening all around the world right now."
"There is variety. If you start working for BSC and find it's not working out, don't give up. Do a great job where you are and watch for other openings. There are LOTS of opportunities to do many things in many departments, states, and even countries. And, there are many products where you could help save people's lives or make their lives more enjoyable."
"The leadership team truly believes in employee development. The management team delivers on this vision. I have been the beneficial recipient of career development opportunities to bring value to other areas of the business while giving a new role a try to see if it will be a good fit."
"Great place to work at: great culture, great co-workers, great leadership. Great benefits and support for employees. Great to see women rising to the highest Leadership ranks. "
"I am constantly surprised by the level of effort the leadership puts forth at a site and global level to ensure all communities, backgrounds, etc are aware of their resources through work. Whether it be benefits related, employee resource groups ( which there are many and have strong presence!), paying for SWE memeberships, or onsite activities that make the work place feel like your community-- their support is felt. I greatly appreciate the flexible hours , their excellent response to all things COVID-19, among other life balance considerations. I've never been in a job where i felt like I, as an individual contributor, could make such an impact and be recognized for it. At all management levels, I've felt like i was encouraged to speak and put forth ideas. Diversity of thought is saught after, women in leadership as well. Can't say enough good things. I've had a great experience. "
"Working at BSC for the past 5 years, has been great. I have always felt supported, encouraged from a development standpoint and visible. During this time, I have been on not one but TWO maternity leaves and each time my management and the culture has been supportive and engaging. They truly understand and support first time moms and BSC's flexible work environment has been helpful when your little one is out sick. Even with Covid 19, the Business has worked to identify and develop well-being materials and programs to support women who are facing challenges with remote learning and daycare challenges. I couldn't imagine being able to continue working my role during a pandemic anywhere else. "

"The culture is very supportive of women. The D&I and ERG network is growing and has a strong presence across divisions and franchises. The EC-level team needs more females, but it does seem like that is being addressed - slowly but surely!"

"This company has supported me through multiple different lifestages. The onsite daycare was critical to my ability to balance my career while having young children, and now that my children are older I have a large amount of informal flexibility to arrange my days to be able to do what I need to do both at work and at home. I am grateful for the results-oriented culture and supportive management that allows me to do this."

"There's a Maya Angelou - "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better. " Boston Scientific is a great place to work. It is also on a journey, but that's what I love about this place. That is Boston, it's always striving to be better and it's not afraid to course correct when appropriate. This permeates the entire culture at Boston, as we learn we grow and do better, and we are constantly trying to learn and grow spherically in all directions, but definitely in the places is matters most like equality, diversity, and inclusion."
"BSC provides a tremendous level of flexibility to me as a working mother. I have historically had the opportunity to grow my career and also feel balance in the time I can spend with my children and family"
"I appreciate the Boston Scientific is continually looking to improve in regards to work/life balance and promoting women in leadership. Over the last three years they have made dramatic improvements by implementing diversity targets in hiring and leadership positions, by implementing sponsorship programs for women (of which I've been a part and really find value in), and by really making changes in support of flexible work arrangements. As with any employer, one of the main factors is who your boss is but the shift toward supporting and promoting women have become a cultural norm. I would definitely recommend BSC to my friends."

"It has been a while since I worked there, however, if it is the least bit the same, I wouldn't recommend working there to anyone. The corporate culture was terrible and the majority of the employees were unprofessional. It's a very profitable company but they are scrooges and don't care about their employees. Ageism and nepotism are a problem there. They lay-off employees to hire younger ones to pay less."

The company is trying to focus on work life integration and improving flexibility but there’s definitely still some “old school” types that need to come around to the idea that you don’t need to be “seen” in your chair to be a productive employee."

"Boston Scientific is a great place for women and men to work. The culture and structure promotes opportunities for growth, flexibility and recognition. Like many companies, whether you can access these benefits sometimes depends on your particular manager. I have heard from some individuals that their managers aren't open to it, even though the company overall promotes this culture. My own experience generally has been that when I've asked for these things, I have been allowed to earn/justify them, and I felt like it was quite fair."
"Great place to work. My division has a number of women in leadership positions and it is an inclusive and supportive environment. "

"Boston Scientific is a pretty amazing place. I am a person who wants to feel part of a bigger mission - the company works so hard to give everyone a chance to understand their impact. A big event sites hold annually is the "Everyone Makes and Impact Day". You hear patient stories about the devices they've received, often made at your location. The leaders talk about innovation and are extremely transparent. I love the inclusive feel and willingness to connect to help you learn. "
