We did have a gap on the higher levels of the company for gender or some other ethnic groups that were not fully represented and from my perspective the company went the right way about changing it. "If you do get promote (Big If) Women start listening and acting like the men. You would think they would get in there and make a change. I was personally told if I want to get promoted keep mouth shut and wait for them to promote me. Such a backwards concept of thinking. I feel I am working for a start up company where people are clueless. Cummins as a company is great benefits just need to review the people running things more closely. Women are so use to not getting promoted if they have a ounce of a chance they will not support you. NO team work, not togetherness to support or mentor each other."
