"As a remote, FT working mom, I'm thrilled that I have the flexibility I need to get my work done and still be present for my daughter. The hours are very reasonable, and my pay and benefits are great. I truly love the work I do here, and I feel supported and valued by the company. Highly recommend!"

"Glassdoor is truly amazing. I see and feel that my hard work is valued, and my superiors are great about giving kudos when appropriate. Glassdoor is also mindful of gender pay parity and is actively reviewing compensation in order to avoid disparity, and if they find it, it is corrected. "

"Glassdoor is an amazing place for women to work. The flexibility of working hours, open PTO, strong parental leave and caregiver leave benefits make my professional life manageable and reduces stress. We still have a ways to go with hiring women senior leaders and executives, but I love that our CEO and executive team openly acknowledge this and are committed to gender diversity and equality throughout the company."

"Being employed by Glassdoor has enabled me to be in control of my work and home life. I have a true work-life balance. Before, I used to worry about not being able to show up for my kids at important events in their lives. My previous company was super inflexible and I used to miss out on family commitments. Now I can really be there for my kids when they need me. With a flexible and transparent benefits program and work from anywhere policy, I am back in control and I am forever grateful to have the opportunity to work at Glassdoor. It is a great company. "

"Glassdoor is the first place in my career I feel free to bring my whole self to work, and that being who I am is enough. The allyship that surrounds you is incredibly special. Not only do we have the ability to work from anywhere, we have "you days" each month, amazing salaries, transparent leaders and benefits that go above and beyond for women. I'm so lucky to have found Glassdoor. "

"As a working mom, I am very very grateful for Glassdoor! No company is perfect but when I think about all Glassdoor has provided during my almost 4 years, it's pretty incredible.
The managers I have had have always been so supportive of my both professionally and personally. Giving me the opportunity to relocate when I was expecting my first child to be closer to family and endless opportunities to continue to learn and grow in a remote environment.
Glassdoor also has a pretty competitive maternity leave, mental health benefits, women resource group full of incredible women and above all, leadership values feedback and listens to feedback to implement change. Some change is slower to come but since I've been around, where possible, leadership makes change quickly!
I wouldn't say it's 'easy' work because there's a lot to learn, a lot of change but with change comes opportunity and if you're coachable and open to feedback and growing, Glassdoor is a great company to work for - especially as a woman! "

"There is an aggressive culture of rising young men, mid-thirties, who are not experienced or competent to supervise the more experienced women they are supposed to oversee. The college has gotten rid of A LOT OF mid-level women in the last two years, because of the ambitious inexperienced supervisors' lack of competence, particularly in personnel management. This is a top-down culture, starting with the current president of the college."

"Run don't walk. Do not waste your time here. Unfair pay, and unreasonable expectations. You'll find yourself doing 1.5 jobs (or maybe even 3!) and getting below market wages and sub-par benefits. Most teams are understaffed and short on resources. You think you're signing up for a company that cares deeply about their employees, but you'll quickly learn it's all an illusion."

"For a company that preaches about work-life balance and company culture you would think they would be hitting 5 stars...the truth is it's all smoke and mirrors. They say unlimited PTO, but don't be surprised if your seldom PTO request gets denied, or if when it does get approved you're expected to work during your vacation. Also know you'll get the side eye if you ask to leave early, have an appointment or work from home. "
Did you take Maternity leave?
"Yes"
12 Weeks Paid | 6 Weeks Unpaid
"They offer 12 weeks paid maternity leave - however, they are not consistent across the board with the amount of time an employee can take. I asked for 6 months, my boss said "the business can only support 12 weeks." Luckily, I knew my legal rights for mat leave in CA and was able to take the 4.5 months. Talk about an uncomfortable situation! Since I've been back, I have had double the work load and I am struggling to keep up. Another mom on my team just left the company to take another opportunity after returning from mat leave after 6 months because she could no longer handle the 60+ hour weeks. She too returned to a double work load and zero support. I should also mention the mother's room has been a bit challenging and a pain point as well. There are at least 4+ moms using the room and they refuse to set-up a reservation function after multiple requests to facilities, HR and our managers. We find ourselves all waiting for the room multiple times a day because we don't know when it will be available or in use. A mom had to pump in the middle of the locker room the other day with people walking in and out because she couldn't wait any longer! The whole situation is obscene and just tells you how little they care about their employees."
