"The company pats itself on the back for 10 weeks of mat leave which is nicer than 0 but it is hardly enough time to leave a newborn in someone else's care. There's also no evidence of an audit to check that women and men are paid fairly. There's also only 2 women in our executive committee, but plenty of women in the pipeline so I wonder where the glass ceiling comes in. "

"Least flexibility among hourly workers, housekeeping, sales manager. More flexibility in higher positions but you have to get to the right department that doesn't need exactly 9 - 5. "

"Hilton is a wonderful place to work. They do promote family time! I have worked for other companies as a mom, and Hilton is by far the most accommodating company. I don't feel guilty being at work and I don't feel guilty when I need to be my mom and step away from work! "

"Hilton provides opportunities for career growth and not just through climbing the corporate ladder. The company embraces team members moving from one department to another and building team members' skill sets so that they are valuable in more than just one area. Leadership takes our annual team member survey results very serious and each year new actions are taken based on the feedback received. In my time here (10+ years) I've been provided opportunities to do things I have never done, travel to places I've never been and have grown my career more than I expected. Hilton is a great place to work and I feel my contributions to the organization are properly recognized and rewarded.
Overall Hilton embraces diversity of all kinds. Diversity is built into our culture. The only gap in this statement is our executive leadership. There are many women in leadership roles through the senior director level; however when you get to the VP and higher level there are significantly less women in those roles. It is my understanding that this is something the company is actively working to address and change (4/13/18 date of this review)."

"I am able to step away from the office when needed to go to personal appointments. I am able to work from home when I need to. Taking time off at the last minute is not an issue. The general expectation is that I work normal business hours but if I have personal needs that require a different schedule it isn't a problem. Hilton partnered with Arianna Huffington to incorporate the Thrive program and that has only strengthen the company's commitment to help team members have balanced work life integration. "
