IBM is one of the rare tech companies that treat women well. If you want to thrive in your career, you should look for an employer with a truly inclusive work environment like IBM.

I work from home so I can spend more time with my family. Within reason, I also get to move my schedule around so I can attend to personal errands within the day.

Depending on what type of role you are in when you join, it can be very difficult to move laterally into another type of role or grow within your own. Opportunities to explore other disciplines are difficult to jump to but not unheard of.

I feel like I have a voice at IBM. Women have just as many seats at the table as their male counter-parts. The work I get to do is rewarding, the people I get to work with are second to none and the positive impact we are making at a global scale has me beaming with pride.

IBM had a female VP by 1943 and some of the most highly respected leaders in the organization are women. The conversation at IBM is centered around inclusion and there's an entire team that works on initiatives constantly discovering ways we can do more. I'm proud to be a woman at IBM.

The office culture is extremely supportive of IBMers appointments or arranging hours to pick up kids from school etc. I've never stressed over scheduling an appointment! I manage my own schedule depending on what works for me any given week.
