"The pay is depressingly low, the hours are low, and the company culture is "meet your sales goals or you're not working hard enough, regardless of market saturation or any other mitigating circumstances". LB has it's positive sides - the discount is great, for example - but it barely provides any actual money. Talk to associates about how they like their manager before you apply, and understand that Lane Bryant is a band-aid until you can find a different job. Lane Bryant is not a career. "

"The nature of retail is inconsistent. Hours are largely dependent upon your site, availability, and management. While obviously more flexible than a strict 9-5, it is not reliable, as hours vary week-to-week."
