I know more women in leadership positions than I do men (even our CEO is a woman). I am also apart of the LGBTQ+ community and I am welcomed by all leadership, we also have other LGBTQ+ folk that are in both direct leadership roles and higher on the chain. It is great to be represented and treated equally. I'm not nervous about inviting my wife (who also works here) to work events and outings or to speak about our family openly. Not to mention my wife and I have a 16-month old son and being able to WFM in our Hybrid work environment has been a major blessing- my wife also got 16 weeks of leave when our son was born and was given an addtl paid 30 minute break to nurse our son. I worked for another company at the time that did not give me any leave- left that job when he was only 1 month old to join NFCU and it's been the best decision I've made thus far professionally. "
