"It's a great place to work! The company really looks out for each employee no matter the gender. I definitely feel valued here and my voice is heard. The hours and shift options are great. I have been lucky to have some great supervisors who really look out for my best interest. Tons of advancement opportunities are available."

"Since I started with NFCU, I've had two children and the paid time off postpartum has been exceptional compared to other companies. I am so grateful to have been given so much time to spend bonding with my children in their first year of life. There are also amazing online resources, as well as time in the work day to pump if needed, and private rooms in the office to do so! I know so many other mothers whose companies provide little to no paid time off and I feel so blessed to work for such an amazing company. There are also so many female leaders and it does not feel male-dominated in any way. I'm always comfortable bringing any issues I have to my leaders and up the chain. I am always taken seriously and feel as though my voice is being heard. I cannot recommend NFCU more! "

"From the top down there are many women in leadership positions. We have a woman as president and if you looked at the financial industry you will see many institutions are still led by men. Navy Federal offers hybid work schedules, maternity and paternity leave, nursing rooms for new moms, and management has the flexibility to offer schedules that accommodate a working parent, not just a mom. Great company focused on their employees as much as their business!"

"Navy Federal truly cares about their employees and their families. The benefits are amazing. Their 16 week fully paid maternity leave is just the cherry on top when you are a Female Employee. I am so proud to work for Navy Federal. "

"For Maternity leave you get 8 weeks paid full disability. Then you get 8 weeks of Paid Parental leave. You can use the 8 weeks of your Parental Leave all at once or spread the weeks out. Your 8 week paid parental leave expires the day of your Baby's first birthday. For adoptive/non delivering mothers. It is 12 fully paid weeks. "

"You can trust your team here- we all work together to make things work. A huge plus is that my leadership has been amazing about supporting me personally in providing occasional schedule flexibility when I need time to support my family at home."
