"Navy Federal is a great place to work. There are incredible opportunities for learning, advancement, implementing your ideas, and helping others. Plus, people care about each other here. There is a reason why so many people work their entire careers here and retire. I wish I would have started sooner! "

"Navy Federal is a great place to build a career. I joined mid-career thinking Navy Federal would be a stepping stone to my next great opportunity. Soon after joining, I realized Navy Federal WAS the next great opportunity. I have never before worked for an organization that cares so deeply about both their members and their team members. If you are looking for growth and development, I highly recommend Navy Federal."

"Don’t discuss your personal life, don’t trust anyone, don’t have any need for ADA or FMLA, watch your back, if anyone hugs you, they are looking for the best place to put the knife, and plan to either drink the kool-aid and like it or accept you will never be promoted and will be considered a “difficult” employee with problems."

"Full 12 weeks for maternity leave and very supportive of breast-feeding.
Our CEO is now a woman. You’ll find women at every level throughout the company. And the branches are definitely dominated by women. I personally have never had a male supervisor. My current supervisor is female, the manager is female , my regional manager is female… Ladies definitely can dominate in this company "

"If you are working in the branches… You have to understand that it’s still retail banking. Everyone says Bankers hours… The hours aren’t bad and you get every federal holiday off. But most week nights you’re not going home till six, So it makes having dinner with your family difficult especially if you have young kids. And you will be working most Saturdays. If you’re in California branches don’t close until four on Saturdays... So it kind of kills your weekend. In other states branches are closed at noon or 1 PM. I wish they would return California hours to the same as the rest of the branches."

"In California and you can take an additional six weeks on top of what Navy federal Credit Union for parental bonding. You’re paid by the date at 60% I think for that additional 6 weeks"
