"I believe outside of sales there is good flexibility. Although this flexibility is sometime abused buy some employees creating bottlenecks for projects and tasks."

"This company can provide you with good job, but it's difficult to imagine it being the home of your career. Your overall job satisfaction can very much depend on the people you work with. That can be true for any job, but as a coordinator or planner if you are unlucky enough to have AEs or a manager that is rude, disrespectful or inconsiderate of you, you can easily be trapped in an unequal situation for which there's little recourse to escape besides quitting. Consequences of bad behavior are on the burden of the subordinate. Until recently, there appears to be little effort of development of coordinators. Besides all that, it's an okay job if you can answer emails and work excel. "

"I am putting a 2 only for the recent changes that our new CEO has started. However, historically, I would put NCC at a 1, or even 0. I feel as though NCC has developed a long sense of complacency as a company that has developed into a culture of "this is the way it is" : the reliance on paper, the operating systems of our computers, the constant turnover of coordinators, bad behaviors by AEs and managers that are normalized and dismissed. When I was interviewed I was told that my AEs or buyers might yell at me and disrespect and I had to be okay with that. When I was hired I was told not to expect promotions any time soon, as "those come with the right timing, not expectation", that it might be years. I was told not to expect any free food or perks and when it happened "Don't get used to it." I think there is potential for change, but I believe there is an old guard here that is resistant and resentful of changing the way it's been."

"As a whole, NCC has been a good company to work for, but it is lacking in some fundamental areas that exist at other companies nowadays. The new CEO is bringing about significant change to the company as it pertains to working women, which has been severely lacking, namely a maternity leave policy and involvement in female-focused events. "Unfortunately, the company does not have a broad policy regarding flexible concerns (work from home, flex hours, etc.), but it is up to each manager as to how he or she manages his or her staff. If a manager is not willing to allow an employee to work from home or have flexible hours, for example, that employee cannot do it. At the same time, other managers allow it, which creates inconsistency and unequal treatment."

"The digital team is way more with the times and offers flexibility and fairness. would like to see this across the board. As a woman I am a second class citizen in the eyes of linear management, especially in the Chicago office. "
