      "While many male bosses are out of touch, so too are many female managers. Many issues with support within teams and from other teams. Many get unearned recognition, while those who have earned it ignored."

      "Although my ratings aren't as strong as they could be, this is based on how NCC has been managed prior to Nicolle Pangis being hired as CEO & President. Since she joined the company, improvements were quickly implemented. The future for NCC as a woman is definitely looking up. I believe it will be a very different place to work in the near future. The culture is already changing for the better."

      "Up until my company hired a woman CEO, the entire board was all men and very few women in leadership roles. Sometimes open positions wouldn't be posted and a man promoted without even equal opportunity (posting the job). Very little opportunity to advance in the company which doesn't seem to be based on skill set or experience but more favoritism."

      "It seems to vary by office. My office tends to punch a clock and is frowned upon if you work remotely. Face time is big for management in my office versus the more modern connectivity we provide employees that can be accessible from anywhere (i.e. mobile, email, conf call, etc.). In sales and building business you learn to be accessible and communicate while remote, use all the tools & resources provided like Outlook to schedule meetings, proactively send agendas prior to meetings so everyone can come prepared and contribute to the meeting. There are many smokers in my office and take several breaks all together and enjoy long lunches every day. They leave on time every day as well. This is accepted. Why not give all non smokers an additional 6 days of vacation to promote a healthy life style and work place - something certainly to consider."
