"NCC is moving in the right direction with new policies to support work life balance by creating better parental leave under the New CEO. PTO and benefits (in my opinion) have always been very good. Where the company could improve is supporting flex hours or even improving technology for working at home to be more of an option. There is still a stipulation that a person needs to be at their desk at all times in order to get work done."

"It's clear that female supervisors and coordinators are expected to hold a role of emotional responsibility that male ones do not. I know that my male counterparts have not been chewed out for the same things I have been. Ladies in my position are routinely expected to hold a bulk of the emotional labor, especially if they work for or with men, and for less money. Even with other variables such as hire date and experience involved, I know I make almost ten thousand less a year than my male counterparts with half of what I do, know how to do, experience, and am willing to offer, and while there's the argument of new hires making more, it's incredibly frustrating when we are also expected to not only do the work in our job description, but also preform emotional labor that men are clearly not expected. When education comes into play, it's even worse. Favoritism in my office is also a major issue, and while there are some women involved, it very clearly skews towards men. Even with female managers, I feel I have been passed over for less qualified men partially because of my gender. I do not feel I can express this without backlash, and I love working here when this attitude isn't obvious. I want to make this better. Some of my coworkers have stories of assistants being sexist, and there is no way to report this without feeling your position is at risk. Finally, I do feel that female employees are held to higher standards in my office, and male employees are let off for less."
