"The benefits here are not great but this is the first company I've worked for that doesn't feel sexist. I believe women are paid as well as men and that promotions and job opportunities are given to both men and women equally."

"There are many female role models in the business, demonstrating true leadership, but some appear to be pretty stressed much of the time so I'm undecided if it's a good thing or bad to get further promotion when I'm already stretched."

"You need to know what is important to you - and how/where you would draw the line for your own personal work/life balance. The company is driven and will take all that you give and never tell you 'that's too much' - so you need to make sure you say it yourself. They always respect that answer of 'that's too much' but you have to be able to articulate it yourself. If that is the case, it is a great place to work."

"Flexibility doesn't mean I'm always 'on' - there has to be times when I am off work totally. we must respect that. Flexibility is also very much manager dependent. It needs to be more of a cultural acceptance, beyond individual managers."

"Speak up and be visible. Do the informal networking and get to know people at work events and other. Keeping your nose down and getting your work done is not enough.
Have a respected mentor that will speak up for you during people planning / annual reviews. If your function is primarily male, then it is best to have a male mentor in this situation."
