"Work/life balance depends completely on the support of you manager/function rather than corporate policy. In general, I have found the men I worked for to be much more supportive than other women."

"I've worked here for 2.5 years. The amount of women present in various roles, functions, & levels is quite remarkable. Maybe it helps since the CEO is a woman, which is absolutely great! I've just come back from maternity leave; I took 12 wks off (6 paid). So far the transition back to work has been smooth. Only downfall is that my manager doesn't respect the time I have blocked for pumping."

"Some functions are a boys club and diversity is lacking in senior/executive level roles. Various opportunities to gain experience within several company divisions and functions. Work/life balance in some functions can be difficult, especially when managing "office facetime" pressures."

"PepsiCo is always looking to get women into the work place. PepsiCo doesn't fear putting a woman in an important role. Pepsi Beverages entails a very large group of blue collar jobs that are extremely demanding and it is important to make sure that respect is earned by showing that you understand the demands of those below you. Women have had a lot of growth in this company, and the glass ceiling fails to exist. After all, the CEO is a woman."
