"Roku is definitely in a growth phase in regards to diversity in the workplace. There are a lot of great women at the company, but very few in leadership and Roku struggles to highlight women and POC in high profile ways."
"If you assert yourself and speak up, you will do well."
"It is tough, but if you are good at what you do, this place will reward you "
"I love working at Roku. Roku offers a supportive community where folks who are able to learn fast, work hard, and dream big will thrive. Independence, trust, efficiency, and work-life balance are all key on my team. We're a growing company with something for everyone. "
"You get some of the traditional silicon valley misogyny but there is a real effort to create a more diverse and equitable environment. "
"Roku's culture is the definition of "autonomous". You are in charge of your own career, your own hours, how you want to work and what you want to focus on. It's empowering for me knowing no one own's my future at the company except for myself. I would like to see more women hired and promoted into leadership positions, especially outside of non-traditional women-held roles. I think this will only continue to positive impact our culture and the future growth of the company. "
