"There are many people supportive of the needs of women and men that need flexibility for family. Not every job can have as much flexibility and that's ok - but there are plenty of jobs that do allow for flexibility.
When I had my first child, I took 6 months off, I came back part time . I was part time and flexing - working partially at home and in the office - this was awesome 20 years ago! I stayed part time for 12 years and was able to move around to different positions to add to my skill set. I was even promoted to management when I was part time. "

"Still some work to do in terms of promoting diversity for POC and women in management positions. Have been fortunate to have supervisors that were very understanding of my flexible needs, without formal requirement of UTfleX."

"The new process of 4weeks parental + 8 weeks maternity = 12 weeks total @ 100% pay is much better than prior policy that used tenure to decide what portion of maternity leave would be on short term disability."

"I have loved working here. I have been here since I was in intern in College. I cannot imagine going anywhere else and getting the level of support and recognition that I receive here. This is a great place to work!"

"I believe they do a good job with work life balance. Depending of what position you are in (if working from home is feasible with your tasks) they will definitely accommodate. The company offers a lot of paid time to be able to do what you need to do either personally or in support of your family. "
