"It depends on the department and the business unit within UTC. Typically in Operations, it is a heavily male-dominated area. Most of the time it feel's like a "boys' club". Most people are respectful, but you do have to have a tougher skin when you're the only female out of 30 men on your team. Choose your manager wisely. Not all managers at UTC support gender diversity, or diversity in general."

"I have worked here for almost 30 years, experienced many ups and downs. Aerospace has been a male dominated field but more and more women are joining us and finding many opportunities awaiting them.
