"Still a lot of bias when it comes to mothers. Mothers returning from leave are often times put into ic positions when they left as managers. Be very careful about documenting your desire to stay in a management position... this happened to me twice and when I didn’t complain right away (hello, I’m a little busy over here with my new baby), they said I must have been ok with it. If you are high enough in the org, having no directs puts you on the list for potential layoffs no matter how well you’ve performed. Having 6 months of leave is great, but since most fathers don’t take 6 months, it’s inadvertently negatively affecting women. Having two children negatively impacted my career here. "

"Very executive fire-drill driven. We want to be a place for work-life-balance, but it is hard to maintain that and also be successful. "

"Be sure to interview your manager, some bad apples there. Check for work-life balance for a team, it varies greatly. If you find a great support system, you will do great and enjoy your experience at the company! Lots of wonderful, genuine people work there. "
