"Sonatype has made great strides in recent years to build on an already strong remote-first culture that is supportive and thoughtful of their globally based workforce. Examples of this include a paid day off for volunteer work in addition to regular PTO, a newly inaugurated Values Champions program that shines a light on the many and varied contributions from people across the company, our newly revised onboarding program that introduces new hires to a cohort group beyond the area they're being hired into as way of creating connections day one, also an internship program for college students interested in software engineering. "

"Sonatype is a dynamic and continuously evolving place to work. We are industry leaders in our space and get to work with very smart folks across the company. There are ongoing efforts to have more diverse talent in the company as well as in leadership positions. Although this is not a reality yet, we are on the right track. There are several communities and grass-root initiatives to make a difference and have one's voice heard. It is a breath of fresh air to have senior leadership that is willing to learn and respond to the changing societal landscape and concerns of the employees."

"Speaking from the perspective of the Engineering and Product side of Sonatype, we've grown rapidly in the past few years along with the rest of the company. More women have joined in a cross-cutting set of roles, from Product Management, to Engineering Management, to Engineers, Designers, Agile and Support than ever before. In addition, we have an active Women at Sonatype group, LGBTQIA+ group and CBID (Community, Belonging, Inclusion and Diversity) all of which help inform and drive change in our culture. "
