"Networking and building relationships are paramount to development at Stryker. It is much more challenging for people who are introverted or not dialed into the culture to assimilate and make career moves here. Type-A, strong personalities are valued more than actual skill or experience so be prepared to assert yourself often. "

"Stryker holds itself out as a great place to work for women, but that was not my experience. Maternity leaves were treated as inconveniences to male managers. Junior male employees’ income could be $20K more than their female managers. Raising these concerns during an exit interview resulted in zero change. "
