Upon returning to work it was difficult to pump as I was not allowed to leave the floor when needed and was required to pump, clean my supplies, and store my milk in two 15 minute breaks. Also, schedules are not set so some mornings you open and other days you close and weekends were always up in the air making it difficult to plan any activities outside of work. "

"I didn't necessarily feel like I was treated differently because I was a woman but it is important to note, that in a room with the more senior population of the company, there are definitely more male employees than female. When I first went to an annual conference, this fact was immediately clear to me. There is also a disparity in racial diversity, so essentially it was a conference hall where the overwhelming majority were while males."
