"Average benefits. Maternity leave was 8 weeks at 66% of pay. Upon returning to work it was difficult to pump as I was not allowed to leave the floor when needed and was required to pump, clean my supplies, and store my milk in two 15 minute breaks. Also, schedules are not set so some mornings you open and other days you close and weekends were always up in the air making it difficult to plan any activities outside of work. "

"I didn't necessarily feel like I was treated differently because I was a woman but it is important to note, that in a room with the more senior population of the company, there are definitely more male employees than female. When I first went to an annual conference, this fact was immediately clear to me. There is also a disparity in racial diversity, so essentially it was a conference hall where the overwhelming majority were while males."

"I know a couple of mothers that have adjusted their schedules to be with their children, and the company recently adjusted their leave policy (16 weeks paid) which is significantly better to what existed when I went on leave."

"The bank is truly supportive of women at all levels! There is of course still work to be done to improve representation of women at the highest levels, however the CEO is actively supportive of this effort."

"This depends very much on the manager and your level, if you are exempt and have one of the many great managers you can expect a lot of flexibility. If you are non-exempt or have a bad apple manager you may have less."

"Since I've taken maternity leave the bank has updated their policy to provide 16 weeks FULLY paid parental leave for all new parents (male and female, adoptive, birth, etc). When I took my leave I used Paid Time Off (which is generous) to cover some of my 'unpaid' time, and the bank paid Short Term disability policy to receive 2/3 of my pay for 5 weeks. I look forward to potentially using the new, better, policy in the future!"

"I've worked for this company for 2.5 years and have noticed that while many women work here, they are generally in support roles and not often in management. There is an old fashioned patriarchal feel to the company and there is certainly a comparable pay gap between equally experienced men and women in the same job role. While I have not taken maternity leave, it is a very short amount of time and there is no paternity leave offered."

"It depends a lot on your job role and market. I've noticed a lot of women are only in assistant roles and sometimes in management. There are a lot of old-school "boys clubs" and women are not always treated equally."
